Weekly Reading: 03/04/2019

If you’ve been stalling, waiting for the perfect moment to move forward with your current project, now is the time to go for it. The past few weeks have been a series of hurry-up and wait moments, and that may have led to a great deal of frustration. You want to make sure you’ve let go of that energy before moving forward or it can cloud your judgement and make things more difficult.

As you move forward, assess the resources available to you. While you were waiting, the universe was putting the pieces in place to assure your success. No matter what your ego may tell you, you do not have to, nor should you, do this alone. The best resources will come in the form of people who can help you move towards your goals, if you will allow them to. As you get to work in earnest this week, ask yourself the following questions:

  • What am I holding on to that keeps me from fully engaging?
  • Is my ego keeping me from hearing and accepting the wisdom of others?
  • Am I using my resources, both physical and human, to their best capacity?
  • What fears are keeping me from committing to forward movement?
  • How can I let go of past fears and resentments in order to bring my best self to the present moment?

If you find yourself hesitating now that you’ve finally reached Go-Time, don’t freak out. Just take a deep breath, assess the situation, and take that first step. Then the second. Then keep going. You can ask for help, and you will get it. Just don’t be too proud to accept it when it’s offered.
