When they say “patience is a virtue” this week, they’re probably looking at you. It’s frustrating when situations get gridlocked, or worse, deadlocked between two opposing desires. If you’re being pulled in two opposing directions, neither appealing, it’s time to break out the heavy-duty patience and let the situation sit for a while.
We all know that the universe works in its own time, and that no amount of worrying or poking or prodding on our behalf is going to change that. Kat always says that, if the universe is not doing what you want it to do, stop and pay attention. The universe (or deity, or God or the goddess–however you recognize it) is working from a much broader and clearer perspective than any of us could ever muster. Perhaps the time is not right. Perhaps there’s something you missed doing. If the universe says slow down, maybe slowing down is exactly what you need to do.
Self-doubt and second-guessing the universe indicates a lack of trust. That trust is being tested, right here, right now. Your head is mired in doubt, your body is waiting for a break, and your soul? It’s being asked a simple question:
“How much do you believe?”
How much do you believe? In yourself, in your path, in your abilities? How much do you believe in those you love? Take some time this week, slow down, and ask yourself these questions. Then do what you must, let go, and trust that it will be enough.
