Is it possible to be surrounded by people, constantly engaged, and still feel completely isolated? The urge to go within, to find a place of inner silence and safety, can be overwhelming in times of stress. As the world urges you to take a stand, choose a side, form a plan, your mind and body just want to withdraw.
There is so much to sort out, so many factors to examine as you move forward in this complex atmosphere. Unfortunately, time and solitude are rare commodities these days. It may take planning and even a little bit of pushiness, but it is important now that you find a way to carve out time for thought, reflection, and meditation. The next week will demand a lot of you, and your actions will have far-reaching consequences. Careful consideration will be necessary to avoid jump too fast, too soon, in the wrong direction.
Keep as your lodestone the highest good of all. As simple as that may seem, when tempers are high and fears higher, it is difficult to remember that we are all connected. We are all family, connected and interdependent. When we forget this, that is when things start to unravel.
As you pull into yourself this week, giving yourself the emotional and psychological care you truly need at this moment, remember that. We are all together. We are all connected.
Everything else is window dressing.
