Weekly Reading: July 31, 2017

This week, focus not on what you lack, but on what you have to give and what has been given to you. Now is the time to give back, to seek out those who need your help, and to give it–not because you want anything in return, but because you believe in the abundance all around you. You will be amazed at the joy you can find in a simple act of generosity.

Be generous with yourself, because this week may find you very restless and itching to move forward with plans and schemes. Sometimes, action is not the best idea. Sometimes you have to pull back, open your eyes and ears, and consider your timing. The Princess of Wands is very perceptive, and nothing escapes her curious gaze. As you’re cooling your jets, waiting for the action to heat up again, pay attention. Look, listen, and learn. What you discover while you’re grounded may be the very thing you need to move forward when the time is right.

You may also want to take this downtime to check your heart for any lingering hurts or injuries you’re still carrying around. Moving forward is much easier when you aren’t still clinging to a painful past. You can’t see the path before you when all you care about are the tears you shed behind you. Perhaps the lesson you’re meant to learn is that we all get hurt. We all have pain. It’s normal and natural to want to hold on to it, but true progress comes when we learn our lessons and let go of the past.

Use this week wisely. Things will pick up again soon enough, and you’ll be grateful you didn’t squander the down time.
